Since his retirement, Jack’s success filling business needs was replaced by a desire to fill needs directly within his community. His experiences in business fueled his eagerness to help less fortunate people and improve conditions within local programs and various facilities used by countless community members.
Founded by Jack in 1990, The Nadel Foundation has celebrated more than 25 years of dedicated philanthropic and volunteer activities through a variety of effective programs aimed at improving the quality of life for others.
Until his passing in September of 2016, Jack and Julie were both financial as well as hands-on philanthropists, and today the Foundation maintains active ties to the organizations and programs they support. In 2012, Julie Nadel was named Volunteer of the Year, Santa Barbara County, by the Association of Fundraising Professionals-Santa Barbara/Ventura Counties Chapter.
Today, Julie carries on the important work of The Nadel Foundation, and actively continues to support their ongoing philanthropic efforts in the local community. Jack’s legacy and mission in life to pay it forward carries on through her work and the great impact of The Nadel Foundation.
The Nadel Foundation mission is to help improve the standard of living and quality of life, beginning with our local community.
